tONYA LEWIS LEE

PRODUCER and WRITER 

Tonya Lewis Lee is a producer, film director, writer, entrepreneur, and women’s health advocate, delivering meaningful content that resonates with marginalized communities for over twenty years. Her work often explores the personal impact of social justice issues, health and wellness. As a television producer, Lee served as Executive Producer on the episodic Netflix series She’s Gotta Have It. She produced her first limited series, Miracle’s Boys, at Nickelodeon based on the Jacqueline Woodson Novel of the same name which remains classic television today. As a film producer, Lee produced the adaptation of the Walter Dean Myers novel, Monster which premiered in competition at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and is streaming on Netflix. Most recently, Lee co-directed and co-produced Aftershock, which examines the U.S. maternal mortality crisis. The documentary premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival and won the Special Jury Award for Impact for Change. It was acquired by Onyx and ABC News to release on Hulu on July 19, 2022.

Misa Hylton is an American stylist and fashion designer. Known as a pioneer in the fashion industry,[2] she has styled many hip-hop and R&B artists since the 1990s, most notably Lil' Kim and Mary J. Blige. Hylton's style, referred to as "hip-hop glamorous," has been credited with influencing fashion trends in popular culture. Hylton is a global creative partner for MCM and was the centerpiece of the 2019 documentary The Remix: Hip Hop x Fashion. Moreover, she is also the creative partner of MCM globally. She further founded the Misa Hylton Fashion Academy. It grooms the next generation of fashion creators in courses like business, fashion styling, and fashion technology. 


Aisha “Pinky” Cole

From her beginnings in a shared kitchen to a food truck to three locations and pandemic grand openings, Pinky Cole is building an empire as the owner and visionary of Slutty Vegan, an Atlanta based restaurant. Just two years old, the company’s revenues grew to 4 million within the first 6 months of its grand opening. With a rotating menu and a standard 2-hour wait, to pick up made to order food, Slutty Vegan is a game changer. If you think the phenomenon is only about food, you’d be greatly mistaken. Cole has hit the trifecta of community, commerce and compassion.

MUSIC EXECUTIVE and TALENT PRODUCER

Kelly L. Jackson is a seasoned music executive, marketing professional and  talent producer with over 20 years of experience working within the entertainment  industry. Kelly’s entry into the music business started with internships with record labels,  RCA, EMI and Columbia Records in their Marketing and Promotions departments  with talented executives who afforded her the opportunity to learn, execute and  elevate her experience and skills in the music business. Her experience helped  build her resume to obtain positions at music and entertainment companies, StepSun Music/Tommy Boy, Sony Music Entertainment and V. Brown &  Company. Kelly also worked for media firms, No Screaming Media and  TreMedia where she managed publicity campaigns for Carl Thomas,  Dreamworks Ent., Mike Jones, Deborah Cox, Lil Flip and Akon. She also worked  independently on Marketing & Publicity campaigns for Author and Film Producer.


LINDA SARSOUR

HUMAN RIGHTS and SOCIAL JUSTICE ACTIVIST  

Linda Sarsour is a Brooklyn-born Palestinian Muslim American community organizer and mother of three. Recognized for her award-winning intersectional work, she served as national co-chair of the Women’s March, helping to organize the largest single-day protest in US history. She is the former executive director of the Arab American Association of New York and cofounder of the first Muslim online organizing platform, MPower Change, as well as Until Freedom, a national racial justice organization working with Black and Brown communities across the country.


VALEISHA BUTTERFIELD JONES

BUSINESS LEADER and EXPERT

Valeisha Butterfield Jones is an award-winning business leader and currently serves as the Vice President of Global Partnerships and Engagement at Google, Inc. She also serves on the Recording Academy’s Black Music Collective as an Honorary Chair and previously served as the Co-President of the organization.


Lyndsay Levingston

WELLNESS ADVOCATE and FOUNDER, SurviveHER

Lyndsay Levingston is an experienced multimedia maven and communications professional having worked in various capacities including anchor, host, reporter and producer in New York City, Houston, and Tulsa. Her vast portfolio also includes work as a media and public relations consultant for organizations, businesses, and politicians. Lyndsay was diagnosed with Stage 2B triple-negative breast cancer in July 2019. She was declared cancer-free in 2020 and founded SurviveHER™, a breast cancer awareness and wellness nonprofit whose mission is to inform, inspire and empower women. Her story of victory has been featured on Essence.com, NBC News, Revolt TV and OprahMag.com. Lyndsay is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Junior League of Houston. She graduated with honors from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, and dual minors in dance and secondary education.


Erica Duignan Minnihan

INVESTOR and ADVISOR

Erica Duignan Minnihan is Founder and General Partner at Reign Ventures, a Seed Stage Venture fund that invests in consumer tech and software startups with underrepresented founders. Erica has been an active investor in and advisor to early-stage companies for over 15 years. Before launching Reign, she was Founding Partner of 1000 Angels, Managing Director at DreamIt Ventures and Executive Director at both STAR Angel Network and Golden Seeds. Prior to beginning a career in venture, she practiced Investment Banking at Citigroup, Credit Suisse and Cantor Fitzgerald. Erica earned her BA in Business Economics from UCLA and an MBA in Finance with honors from Columbia Business School. She has also made regular appearances on MSNBC and CNBC on “App Wars”, "Your Business" and "Crowd Rules" as a startup investor. She is a mother of three and lives with her family in New York City.

LEGAL MEDICINE SPECIALIST

Angelique Anderson, MD is an internal medicine and pediatric physician who specializes in primary care. Dr. Anderson has been caring for patients, and many times, whole families in NYC and the surrounding communities for over two decades. She has been a trailblazer for innovation and a strong advocate for primary care in urban, inner-city and underserved communities. At Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, she was an inaugural member of the Primary Care Track where medical students were integral in the start up of a medical clinic and medical offices, maintaining and caring for their own patient panels right from the start.
